Pacheco has been a nursery home for the poor sick and elderly in the Brussels beguinage area, one of the quiets spots in town, It named after its Spanish founder in the 18th century, after the Spanish occupation. The last inhabitants reflected the immigration history of the city. They are all gone now,, as the building will get another destination.  I photographed life there during the last year of activity, as a document to remember 300 years of care in the city.
