Through the 'eyes' of their assistance dogs, we learn more about their bosses' mental vulnerabilities. The importance of the dog's support becomes very clear. Well trained assistance dogs can predict, anticipate and react to different kinds of mental cris situations. The owners suffer less, stay out of psychiatry and eventually are able to 'independently' particitpate in society.
